We offer compassionate assistance regarding sexual integrity, pregnancy and parenting, affirming the sanctity of human life and sharing the hope and truth in Jesus Christ.
Since 1985, Options Pregnancy Clinic has been passionate about serving local woman and men facing unexpected pregnancies. From a tiny house on State Street, to a large medical facility near St. Peter's Hospital, the Clinic has come a long way!
A concerned group of people rose up to protect unborn babies and their mothers in the mid-1980's, and it has had a far reaching effect. From serving 392 women in 1988, to a total of 1,806 client visits in 2018, Options has made a huge impact in the local community, always providing free services, education, and love.
The Clinic receives no local, state, or federal governmental monies. All expenses are covered through individuals, churches, and businesses.
We live in a world of controversy. Issues dealing with human life and human sexuality are charged with disagreement and polarity. At Options, even though our culture is constantly changing, our foundational truths never change. The absolute standard we rely on is God's Word. It never changes, and yet meets the needs and answers the questions of each generation.
God's Word clearly demonstrates that all human life is sacred, valuable, and to be protected. No matter the circumstance (and there are many, many hard life situations) a human being is a human being from the moment of conception, and is made in the image of God. That is why we share the dangers of abortion and encourage our clients to choose life...to show the value of men, women, children, and each unique person who walks through our doors.
Caring people caring for people is really what we are all about. So many different people work with Options, from our Board of Directors, Medical Director, Executive Director, to staff, volunteers, and liaisons. Some people have many hours to give, and others step up for special events or programs.
God brings together men and women, from all backgrounds, and weaves us together to be the hands and feet of Jesus. So many men and women are facing unexpected pregnancies, and we are committed to sharing physical, emotional, and spiritual truths with them as they face this chapter in their lives. Every person in our community matters, from pre-born to the eldest, and we want to stand up for all the precious lives in Thurston County.
It is our desire to be the initial point of contact for those facing crises concerning pregnancies. Our goal is to meet each client's needs by providing accurate information, spiritual truth, relationship training, parenting support and ultimately, by encouraging spiritual growth through discipleship and church attendance.
